Toilet Overflow Damages Kitchen
A toilet overflowed and the water sat on the floor for quite awhile. It slowly dripped into the subfloor and down to the kitchen below. Because it wasn't sanitary water, basically everything needed to be replaced. Pictured above is the drywall being cut out and plastic covers the counter to try and save some space in the kitchen from direct contact with toilet water. Other than that, everything else needs to go. The whole kitchen may have to be replaced depending on what the insurance company says/home owner preference. In that case, SERVPRO does demolition and could tear out the kitchen to be replaced by the contractor of choice.
